Despite its price hike Maruti Suzuki Swift remains popular in its customer segment, just because the 2021 Swift speaks performance, style and dynamism from every angle. Its new dual-tone sporty design is sharp and purposeful, and accentuated by the Sporty Cross Mesh Grille with Bold Chrome Accent, precision cut two-tone alloy wheels and LED projector headlamps.
However, the company has also increased the number of its competitors by increasing its price. Earlier Maruti Suzuki Swift only competes with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Ford Figo, which were recently introduced with a new automatic variant, but in this price range, the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger also fall into the same segment of SUV bodywork.
It is to be known that Maruti has increased from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 15000 in different models of Swift. The VXi, VXi AMT, ZXi, ZXi AMT, ZXi+, ZXi+ dual-tone, and ZXi+ AMT variants of the Swift have increased showroom prices by Rs 15,000 and prices for the entry-level basic Lxi variant are up Rs 8,000 while the top of the ZXi + AMT Dualtone range is more expensive at Rs 1,000.
New prices for the Maruti Suzuki Swift range from Rs 5.81 lakh to Rs 8 .56 lakh (ex Showroom, Delhi).
And here it should also be known that Maruti discontinued its entire range of diesel engines in the Indian market of the BS6 era and the test mules of a CNG powered Swift has been seen on the roads ahead of its launch.
